Why don't people like Anthrax?

Everytime I go into a music topic where someone says "the big four of thrash are Anthrax, Megadeth, Slayer, and Metallica," another poster says "no no no replace anthrax with testament pl0x." What's wrong with Anthrax? Is it because of their vocal style or what? :?

We did like Anthrax 20 years ago. Their music hasn't stood the test of time like Slayer, Metallica and Megadeth as it wasn't nearly as good. As time goes on more people realize that Testiment was much better.

I thought it was because of the first singers high voice.

It was kind of suprising to hear a voice like thatin a speed/thrash metal song.

I really don't like the genre as a whole.

That is one of the all time great thrash songs but it's also one of their only great songs. That and Indians.

i love anthrax. good for use in 3rd world countries.

I for one am dissappointed that this is not about the lethal compound. :'(

Because it's a terrible thing that can make people very sick or even kill them, and if it gets into the wrong hands it could be used as a terrible weapon (we are talking about the band, right?).

I liked Fistful of Metal, Spreading the Disease, and Persistence of Time. Their other albums aren't really good.

edit: Testament on the other hand, well their albums are all pretty solid.
