i don't get why all the new ones get criticized because their not as hard as ol school rappers like outkast or nas. well what do you expect, it's their first timeand you can't expect them to be legends right away. that's totally unethical, every artist has their own perpective to bring to the table, even if they rap about subjects we already heard several times before regardless.

like ridin dirty? rappers IMO just seem to have lost a bit of touch with reality, young guys rapping about shooting people and getting rich and getting women, just doesnt appeal to me in the way old school rappers could sing about their troubles and make it interesting
Well, all new rap bassically talks about cars, woman and money, and it just kinda gets annoying after a while since its all they are doingConManWithGun
i am not biased i just think it sucks and i am a rap fan :| stronger by kanye sounds like a techo song and everything else is degrading, common is the only decent one around at the moment.
Noone much cares about muscular shirtless men covered in ink shooting others like him, useing the services of prostitutes, andusing drugs... Everyone thinks crime is overrated.
I like any kind of rap, but mostly Lil' Wayne, Lil Jon, Three 6 Mafia, Bone Thugz n Harmony, Chamallionaire, 50 Cent, Lil' Flip, T.I. and stuff like that.
Because it's all generic **** with the same rhymes, same flow, all over the same candy-ass beats. There is no talent in that genre anymore, unless you go underground.
the reason i dont like rap as mcuha s rock is because rap isnt very diverse sounding, i eman sure you have different styles but they all sound so similar it gets tiresome.
Because noe of the new artists out right now rap about thing that set them apart from other artists. It's all about getting drugs, women, money and cars. They all say the same repetitive crap over different beats.

The majority of new rap sucks.....because it doesn't have any soul. It all seems generic and cookie cutter. Rapping about how much money you spent on your ******* shoes is the most pointless BS I've ever heard. Never talks about anything relevant anymore. To be fair...it's the mainstream stuff they play on the radio that sucks. I've heard some pretty cool **** floatin around on demo tapes.
