Ok so When I was a little kid I used to love that special occasion that id get to have some kfc chicken.........I havent ate kfc in a while and now just recently bought some and.........its so greasy and non flavor and the skin isnt even crispy anymore....what gives kfc i mean come on......my friend said it sucks because they use a special type of fat to cook it in now............any ideas?
Like most things, they've probably been cutting back on quality, but still raising the price. And as long as people continue to go there, they will continue to do it.
I think Bill Bryson once wrote something interesting about how most Americans will buy familiar food brands, just because they know the name, rather than because they care about the quality. And this is why the quality goes down.
It might be gross when you think about it, but so is anything else you get at fast food restaurants. As long as its tasty, I'll eat it and some stuff at KFC certainly is tasty. But not the normal fried chicken...I just don't like bones in my food.
Well, i personally think kfc was always gross, but now people know what they are putting into their bodies, so thats why its gross, cuz people are concerned bout wieght and fat and junk
Their potato wedges (here anyhow) ARE THE BEST!!!!! They completely dominate any and all other wedges ive ever had. They are the wedge/jojo kings!! o_o....But popeyes biscuits are better, i think, and i just dont really like cole slaw...v_v Chicken wise though...their popcorn chicken is yummy, but i was sorta let down with their crispy chicken...it wasnt very crispy at all. :(Â And I heard Popeyes chicken is spicy :| I dont really like spicy.
It always has been. For starters, its fried, so you cant get away from that. Then you have KFC putting all those crappy ingrediants which are cheap and unhealthy for breading as well as fatty chicken.
KFC uses disgusting Trans Fat laced oil for pretty much everything. Chicken, wedges, biscuits, mashed potatoes, etc. For example, one meal 2 pc. meal has more trans fat than you're suppose to have in one week IN ONE MEAL. Ever since knowing about this, I have not eaten there, and will not until they change their oil (which they said they were)
KFC is still good, stop being mean to them! You should be ashamed of yourself. I mean the nerve to do something like that!?! You can't just go around trashing food establishments like that! Seriously, stop it! How can one man be so calus to others feeling. What if we loved KFC, HUH!?! What if someone here works there? Ya' ever thougt of that? For crying out loud, how can you be so crazy and rash, someone just might sue you. This is an outrage, an utter outrage! We, as a gamespot community should ban togerther to get this guy modded for his racist actions! How dare you!
Haha ok im sure Ill get banned because of my own personal opinion....seriously if you like kfc enough to write that long of a rant than somethings wrong but anyways I didnt mean to offend anybody....I just think kfc has changed alot for the worse over years.
if youre worried about the fat work out and keep in shape and you can eat what you want as long as you dont go overboard with it. thats what i do at least. i run about 20 miles a week and lift every day.
I agree KFC's quality has deteriorated over time ..... first i thought it was only happnening where i lived .... Which is pakistan but now after reading this it seems like its happening everywhere .... other then that even the cheap knockouts of the franchise are doing better then KFC itself which is a shame and quite strange . Thier fries are crappy and i get stomach cramps most of the time after eating ... i quit eating from that place a long time ago !!! :D
Since KFC is a franchise I think it has to more with the local cooks and managers than all of KFC going downhill. Most often many of the same franchises in a certain area is owned by a single person so if 1 KFC sucks in your area all KFCs suck in your area, mostly due to bad management. I didn't really learn this until I started traveling alot, and finding out food I really liked was crappy in other areas, and food I didn't was actually really good.

Of course sometimes bad quality does not turn people away like you think it would. Fox example my community has a fairly crappy mcdonalds, but it still does the most business out of all the fast food joints in the area. I dont know if it was always bad or just got progressively worse over the years, but it's much worse than other mcdonalds I've been to. Still it seems that people in the area don't realize they are getting crappy food for some reason or not.
