why is there such hate towards islam here?

Islam is a very peaceful religion. there are a few nuts out there that ruin it for the rest of us

All we hear of Islam are the nuts.

You yourself just said women aren't equal to men. Why should I not dislike a religion that makes its followers believe such nonsense?

No one hates islam or muslims on OT or anywhere FYI. But most people (even muslims) hate the islamist terrorrists ( Al Queda, ISIS, Taliban, Boko Haram) who kill innocents, even their own in name of religion.

Because I cannot think of anything in the world that currently has spread more hate and intolerance than that single "peaceful" religion.

There's a big hate towards anything that's got anything to do with God on the internet. Most often it comes from 12-20 year old children.This kind of outburst and shouting makes you look all intellectual and grown up.

I cant say I have never seen a Islam-themed thread on this forum (beside this one).
