Anyone know why? Lol.
That's news to me. The gaming news part is meh, and the forums is finicky to use, buggy and barely active. I barely skim read the articles, and I'm way more active on Reddit these days.
It’s a great site. The mods are superb human beings, and discussions are fluid, be it little.
You’re right. Don’t listen to anyone that says this site is bad. If it’s so bad, why are they here??
Anyways. You’re a relatively new account, so I wish you lots of luck on the site!!

Habit. I got redirected here after CNET Gamecenter got shut down, and just couldn't be bothered to look for other sites until years later. By then, coming here became almost like a ritual; just something I do.
Because we're a bunch of scoundrels remaining on this site.
At least on the gaming side if things on this site: a lot of us are just playful with our shitposting and make fun with it.
This site overall has gone in the toilet since its prime years, but a lot of members have known each other here for years as well, some of us dating back to the 2000's. We make due with what we got, and that's the remainder of our community.

Going to Reddit back in like 2011 made me move away from old style boards. I think it was however a mistake, since I much prefer this format.
Gamespot, I've known since mid 2000s, and it was always a reference for gaming. I still remember the layout from back then even. The forums, I only registered today, and I'm enjoying the experience!
