Why is Tila Tequila popular?

I keep hearing this name at my school mostly by young girls who all say how awesome she is. I looked her up and Im not still not sure why I should care about her. Film-Guy

Popular through Myspace and a crappy reality TV show. People also say she'shot, or exotic, or hardcore...none of which I agree with.

I don't understand the love for her either.

But to be honest, Tila isn't terribly ugly or anything. She's just really petite and average looking.

More than her looks though, her persona really seems like the equivalent of a Hot Carl. Just the way she's portrayed and portrays herself.
