Old video is old. Anyway i always find that these articles that say "look at this kid rage about his games being taken away he must be addicted" don't actually break down why they're so mad. If you take apart an MMO you've got a game where you level up and a chat client/social network system bound together. Now if that MMO is their favorite thing then you could easily derive that it is their favorite type of entertainment and socialising medium. Translate that for non-gamers and you get someone taking away your TV, facebook and phone which i assure you would make a lot of people rage.
But yeah I stopped playing WoW for a while recently and realized soon after I haven't touched my ps3 for months, still had resident evil 5 in its wrapping from back in November unopened along with bioshock for my pc.
That video has been proven to be fake. And all the other ones too.

They have a lot of freak out videos and for one of them they had uploaded a video. Then they took it down and uploaded another video with the same situation but just a little bit different. So it was acted out.
Fake, however I think this one is real and gets the point across http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPtrpZBnJPo sounds like the kid was with two other people and didn't take off his mic. It seemed pretty guniune.
This is like saying TV is bad because people freak out when they lose their cable... Or like saying a COMPUTER, which you are on right now, because people freak out when they get their computer taken away.
