I would like to make it known that I hate both candidates. They both have the overall intelligence of a sea cucumber and the country is in for hell in the next four years. But where I can actually support McCain on a few issues, I think Obama is the lesser of two evils.Theokhoth
The only problem I have with McCain is his contradiction on illegal immigration. Aside from that, his military service and him being a POW is big for me. While some think that being a POW doesn't mean anything, I think that had to give him an incredible measure of inner strength and perseverence. These are great qualities for a President. I will feel much safer under his care when western civilization is under attack.
osama obama
if you vote for him you might aswell be voting for bin laden as president.
this guy isnt even a real blackman he doesnt represent black people and he has no experience in crap.

And I think that is what we can all agree on (except for the obsessive Obama supporters who aren't interested in politics)

Ignorance is fun. Especially when you're repeating what you're parents tell you.
Theokhoth, you have earned your place beside H8sMikeMoore as the other most politically knowledgable individual on Gamespot. I salute you, and if I were a woman, I'd have your babies.:DZentrenius
How is that so? I have never seen him post anything decent about politics ever.

Are you referring to the TC, or H8sMikeMoore?
Or perhaps both?

That's okay. Only women can get pregnant, and I'm straight. However, if I wasn't, you'd be the first to know, silly buns.:P
the only reason black people are voting for him because he resembles a blackman...but he's not even a true black person...plus you all want a muslim running the country?
this guy talks about of crap...but he has done nothing for our country never fought in any war or has experience in crap really...if a blackman actually practiced what he preached id vote for him in a second.
this guy's just a big fake if this guy turns president the country will be worse than it is now.

Either he's the most informed or the most patient to do that level of research. Seriously, that is the best Obama expose I've ever read. Fantastic. It is just high enough in quality for me to say that. He may not have the experience of H8s, but he's bloody well got the spirit.8)
argetlam00's sighalfirishhomerThe hypocrisy is that while he believes that Bush is an idiot, he's the idiot because he doesn't realize that it could have been the Iraqi citizen's left hand that was cut off.

[QUOTE="vlin1108"]I consider the typical white person to be quite prejudiced against other races. I don't think I've ever met one that isn't.Theokhoth
The irony of this statement is fattening.
I didn't say the majority of white people wouldn't vote for a black president just because he's black, if that's what you think.
[QUOTE="mistervengeance"]on the contrary, there is absolutely no policy reason to vote for mccain. he get most of his votes because he is a white pro life christian.
and i really hate it when people whine about the rich paying more taxes. it's for the greater good. yes sometimes federal money is abused but for the most part it goes to a good cause like schools or national defense.
rich people SHOULD have to pay more taxes. there's no reason why they should get tax cuts over the middle class.
Theokhoth
Rich people already pay a large amount of their money for taxes. They pay almost 80% of the country's taxes. Now Obama wants to take their earned money, a violation of human rights, and give it to someone else.
... lol. if you honestly believe that. i really have no hope left for america

Prove me wrong, then. Obama himself has stated as much.

He must of gotten thrown off at the part where you said the "typical white person" is racist....
i dont like mccain either...but he's done more for our country than obama has.....mccain actually fought in a war for our country.
obama wasnt even born in america.
real black people i know are baptist's not muslims...i know enough about that crap to know they despise other religions and cultures and want to destroy western culture.
if a blackman real one fought in war...actually stood for something good practicied what he preached then id vote for him in a second.
obama wants to cut funding for nasa the space program that's stupid as ****

no one said you had too...but his first act as President would sign for free health care, which is something the US really needs.

sparkypants
That "free" health care would be paid for with the money of the rich, who already pay the vast majority of the nation's taxes.
But where are we going to go when the Earth is on fire? According to Al Gore it's only 7 years 4 months and 28 days until the Earth is scorched.obama wants to cut funding for space program LMFAO!
what a douchebag
primateface
Well I guess it really doesn't matter since he wants to increase spening anyway.
in summation of my opinion, both candidates are rubbish. but out of the two, any day of the year i would have obama over mccain for a few reasons. not necessarily in order but the ones i think of in my head.
1. rich don't need any more tax cuts, they need to be taxed more.
2. pro choice
3. obama is not backed by big oil like mccain largely is.
4. mccain is largely in line with bush, and we all see how much bush has done for this country in the past 8 years.
5. republican/conservative philosophy favors a small government with low taxes that does not interfere much with the economy. however, under bush, both sr. and jr.we have only seen big government(patriot act, anyone) and letting the economy be destroyed due to outsourcing and non-interference.
6. mccain is pro war in iraq and iran
7. what saved us from the great depression? a combination of world war 2 and the democratic policies of FDR. if we want to pull ourselves out of recession, i believe we do need some government intervention to pull us back on track.

hes the thing, at the economic standpoint the US is today and with the countless mothers out there struggling to support their kids free health care is a god send(believe me Im part of one of those families).
Free health care? Do you know how fast the hospitals would go bankrupt, and then no one get health care. Is that what you think the country needs?halfirishhomer
...wow...just wow....Canada seems to be doing just fine

Yeah, the rich is really hurting for cash. God forbid a small portion of their money helps people who can't afford health insurance.
if obama cuts funding for space program....space exploration will be halted and other countrys will have ahead of usa...
might be other planets we can actually inhabit one day...but this asswad wants to cut funding you know this means people at nasa losing their job? this guy's gonna make people lose their job not help people get jobs.
this guy stands for all the wrong crap i wish a real blackguy would run for president.
just look at him does this look like a true blackman? hell no he speaks alot of crap about it never done crap in his life.

Funding For Public Schools>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Funding for the space program
god knows we need it. the intellagence level here in america is pathetic and it still continues to fall. we use to be number 1 in the world for education but that point in time has been long gone. Also when was the last time NASA did something constructive?
