He is slowly but surely turning America into a totalitarian state. He got us into an unnecessary and drawn out war/occupation. Really anything I say you will obviously reject outright so why should I even try?gobo212
I just want to see some peoples opinions.
[QUOTE="nintendorocks"]People hate George Bush because it's cool to hate George Bush. gobo212
Or maybe because we disagree with his policies and the direction he is taking us? Is that possible at all?
Technically everyone hates him because of the War. That's it. No one concentrates on any other of his stances they just hate him because of the war.. Which thats a good thing to hate and not entirerly his fault but hey. No one blames congress or Big Buisness or whoever else may be involved in united states affairs. all blame goes on the pres.
Same will be true for the next president we have.

no, it's because he mucked up our communities with his positions on taxes and uneducated steps in national education (no child left behind). I don't fully support the war because its basis were on false/fabricated data to begin with, but makes perfect sense in this mini-cold war we're having. controling that region is key in the struggle against other nations, especially with emerging world superpowers, rivals dating back to ww1, and threats to Israel.
I don't hate the leader of my country. I feel that most people who do only feel that way because it's the popular thing to do.Bloodbath_87
Couldn't have anything to do with driving a booming economy into a recession, and spending billions upon billions of dollars waging a pointless war on a Country that didn't deserve it or anything? Surely it had to be "because it's popular", not because of war crimes and economical decimation...
Here is a nice list for you:
1. He's a Texan.
2. Tax cuts for the wealthy.
3. Vetoing any bill that tries to advance medical science.
4. Pardoning a convicted felon, Libby.
5. Not pardoning border patrol officers who were doing there job.
6. Sending 1000s of soldies to die in a pointless war.
7. Does not even attempt to work with democrats.
8. Talks like an idiot, probably because he is a Texan.
9. Hates the middle class.
10. Had his daddy pull him out of the Vietnam War.
Theres more. But I would rather not develop carpel tunnel syndrome right now.
I hate him because it's cool, and I can relate to a lot of people when I say I hate him.
I kid, but a few of the reasons have already come up in the thread (tax cuts, the war, "security").
Yet you voted him for another 4 year term...leads me to believe that Bush's intellect is in fact superior to that of the average American.I dont know what Im talking about
Yes, because a little over 50% of VOTERS means that every single American agreed that George W. Bush was the perfect man to lead our country.

I'll rephrase that:
Yet you voted him for another 4 year term...leads me to believe that Bush's intellect is in fact superior to that of the majority of Americans.
I have no beef about the war overseas since our armed forces are winning.
I'm feel like frigging Lou Dobbs here!
- Border Security!
- Domestic manufacturing jobs are going overseas.

Most of us disagree with his policies, but there are many young people that just hate him because everyone else hates him, they don't actually know his policies.

I don't really know about his policies but I do know that he is a dumbass. How could the majority of the US be stupid enough to vote for him?

David Petraeus' strategy is working my friend.
The South Vietnamese lost that war not the United States. We just got sick of fighting, thrown in the towel, and let the Vietnamese fight for themselves.

I have definite concerns over our border security as well. As far as exporting jobs overseas, that didn't begin with the current president. It's been a slow process that has steadily been increasing over decades and multiple presidents.
I don't hate George Bush, but I really don't like some of the decisions he's made regarding foreign policy. I would like to see things cleaned up and improved here in the USA before trying to clean up messes overseas. Let's fix our own education system, our roads and bridges et cetera before we go about trying to forcibly fix everyone elses' problems. It makes no sense to pour millions or billions of dollars a foreign cause when our country is so in debt. If the USA continues on the course it has been on for the last few decades, there will be no USA as we have known it.

no child left behind is actually a good idea though. Competition in the educational feild would put us back on track and be able to compete with... finland
