why do you support capitalism?proctorsurf
I like owning what I actually own, not sharing its ownership with the government.
i support democracy becsaue it gives everyone a chance, although some do have to work harder.
Communism is a failed idea. if a doctor is paid as much as a painter nobodys gonna want to be a doctor(atleast not try to be a good one) pure communism works great in theory but not in practice. and socialism? you gotta be joking.

In other words, monetary rewards are greater than the rewards of benefitting the life of an individual.

I would love it.
Yeah, until you get killed. And trust me, if someone doesn't like your pinion, they will probably kill you.I'd like to see them try :)
I support socialism. Socialist economic programs can be used to help with many problems within socioty that other wise go ignored an a continued problem......most importantly, crime and poverty.....
Communism and Socialism are two different things.
Communism shares the common wealth with everyone in the society, Socialism shares the publicly owned economy with the government.
A lot of people don't realize that Japan is a Socialist government. Their trades, exports, imports, and small business are overseen by the government, restricting certain free-minded ideas among cerain business, mainly entertainment and technological.

I could do it. Seriously, I could if I really wanted to. Imagine, when the gov't goes, so do all the laws. People will grab whatever weapon and kill/injuir(sp) anyone they hate. And I'm guessing people hate you, not everyone is reserved as me or you.[QUOTE="proctorsurf"]why do you support capitalism?Chloroformality

universal ownership is more or less a myth......no communist or socialist would ever support a flat pay or system of sharing if they have an understading of the social and economics involved....I don't think you understand what socialism or communism are, neither one contradicts the idea of democracy, people just get this misconception becouse china and the ussr under stalanism did not support universal suffrege, and no communist or socialist I know supports a flat pay system, it's just propaganda used as an attack,i support democracy becsaue it gives everyone a chance, although some do have to work harder.

Why support communism/socialism when it will never ever work. My school even created a club for it -.-. I don't see how people can support that crap.99RanchMarketWell, we kind of live in a socialism anyway. Communism does exist quite succesfully in Israel.

Good thing there's such things as cults and rifles/rockets/snipers/etc. Because otherwise Idk how'd I'd get ya. If you had that many peopel watching over you (conisdering it's a lot) all I need is a god amount of people and I'm fine. you wouldn't imahine how many things would go wrong in a state of Anarchy.[QUOTE="Childish_Spot"][QUOTE="proctorsurf"]why do you support capitalism?yoshi-lnex

Most legal immigrants have good educations, which is why they are able to get in, 2nd and 3rd generations are generally not as successful. But when a system would improve life not only for those in poverty, but for socioty in general, the system just makes sence to me.[QUOTE="Childish_Spot"][QUOTE="proctorsurf"]why do you support capitalism?yoshi-lnex

No, the rich prosper, The rest of socioty could do much better under a system that supported them and allowed to get their ideas, business, and labor in a productive job out there, but they are hindered, as a result crime, poverty and other problems within socioty arise.
and how exactly does communism not promote motivation? I'm sure you'll say communism gives everybody an equal share regardless of occupation, but, I hate to tell you this, but that's nothing but a myth.

It's not a matter of working harder when you are never given the oppertunity to advance that others do.[QUOTE="yoshi-lnex"]I should probably have said specific minoritys.quiglythegreat....What? Every race has some rich people.
It's not a matter of working harder when you are never given the oppertunity to advance that others do not.yoshi-lnexNo, if you are smart and get educated (and this IS possible with public libraries, so don't bring that up) and work your ass off, then you absolutely can make it. No matter where you are from society. To say it's impossible is an insult to the poverty-stricken.

many people are born into a level of desperation in which the idea that they cannot advance no matter what they do is driven into them over and over again for the span of their early years, and that idea sticks with them.
In combination with poverty, poor parents, poor schools and the idea that socioty does not want to succeed, most people within this situation are doomed for failure.

No one would work more than they had to if they didn't think they could get ahead.
No one would do anything if they didn't have to, from seekign higher education to working overtime.
And personally I wouldn't want to be in a market system that would put the works of albert einstein on the same level paris hilton.
Please take your idiotic marxist propaganda elsewhere.
