TDKR was terrible.
I mean it had good acting and great story, and i really liked it (it was pretty good) but like when i saw it i didn't like it. it was terrible. IT was good at the time but then it started to get bad at the time.

I liked it but it was a terrible movie.
Conclusion: you like bad movies.
Conclusion: you don't know what bad movies are.
i need to see it again. wasnt so bad but i felt pretty disappointed with it. it felt too short and some of the scenes went by too quick. would have been better to split into 2 parts(hell i would even take 3 like the hobbit trilogy).
November 27 2012: The day when off-topic outdumbed System Wars, youtube comments and yahoo answers for a few seconds. It was brief, but it was absolutely glorious. NEVAR 4GET.
WOW GUYS... I literally read OPs post 5 times. I couldn't fathom it. I was thinking. God why was I so stupid? Did I honestly make such a vague comment and sound that dumb back then? Then I realized it was a different user with the same avatar as me. Dope.
But I still agree with OP that TDK:R was a "terrible" movie. It just wasn't ANYWHERE NEAR the quality of TDK. First of all the story was worse, the ending wasn't as epic, the pacing was subpar in comparison and the list goes on. The movie had tacky one liners and that just trying too hard. "So that's what it feels like, HUH" * Catwoman disappearing before Batman's eyes*
The franchise has always had those one liners, but in Batman Begins they were BRILLIANT.
"I gotta get me one of those!"
"Does it come in black?"
TDK also had loads of memorable lines.. like..
"Will you be needing the batpod sir?"
"Middle of the day Alfred? Not very subtle.."
TDK:R had its moments, but neither the quality nor quantity of the other two. Bane was a world class villain but they spoiled it in 2 SERIOUS ways. Turning him into a pawn and killing him off in the cheapest and dumbest way possible, getting blasted by Catwoman. Why not just make him have a heart attack or get despressed and blow his brains out? Despite being a great actor and amazing villain, he was no where near the quality of Heath Ledgers Joker. Liam Neesons Ras Al Ghul was also the better character IMO, but not by much. I'm a little biased though as Liam Neeson is my favourite actor. At least he was killed off in a proper way.
Anyways, I was expecting an 11/10 movie and got an 8/10 movie. Very disappointing as it flopped by 3 whole points in my mind. Regardless, I shall buy it on blu-ray as I'm an AVphile and any AV enthusiast will buy this for their cinema..
Bane being a badass the whole through, Catwoman not being in the movie Would have raised it AAA quality IMO.
Not liking something doesn't make it terrible. It means you don't like it.:|But I still agree with OP that TDK:R was a "terrible" movie. IMozelleple112
Terrible? Your opinion on your enjoyment or lack thereof does not mean terrible. The movie was well done. Your opinion does not mean fact.LJS9502_basicFrom a technical standpoint it was not well done. Continuity errors, plot holes, and a swerve ending. It was decent because of the acting and the good will the previous movies had earned it. Not because it was "Well Done"
You are just cynical. It was an awesome movie. Could have better sure, but it wasn't terrible. Battleship was terrible, Friends with Kids was terrible, The Three Stooges was terrible. The Dark Knight Rises was not.

That the movie is "well done" is really just your opinion. Others will vary.
Still, I thought the movie was great and the TC's argument is hilariously contradictory.
