I was at a chinese restaurant and there was this kid reading the nutrition fact on the back of the soy sauce bottle. He then blurts out to his dad "this stuff has more sodium than salt!".

According to the topic creator's message, it doesn't just have to be funny; it can be weird or stupid too.

It sadly isn't any more idiotic than the vegetarians that think fish somehow isn't meat. What do they think it is? Vegetable?

Some girl in my GEOGRAPHY class asked which continent we (United Kingdom) are on. The same girl can not comprehend the idea of rivers flowing upwards on a map...

Ugh, this. I quite literally feel the need to face-palm every time I hear someone say or type this. I think there's another one similar to this that's equally as stupid but I can't remember what it is.

technically fish is meat. but i dont mean to go religious on anyone but i think this stems from christianity, not eating meat on fridays during lent but fish is aloud.

The class: College Earth Science

The question: "Does anyone know the state that extracts the most sulfur deposits?"

An answer: "Canada?"

Problem was the girl who answered was serious about it.

We have an equally bad phrase over here.. some people like to say "I didn't do nothing wrong" (or, "I dint do nuffin wrong"), which actually means that they *have* done something wrong but choose to sound like a complete idiot anyway.

are they doing it in a funny way or are they saying it like folk say "I could care less" when they really can't? Which does in fact make them sound like a complete idiot and I bet most of them are any way >_>

my history teacher tells a girl to name five kings, she can´t even name one and then she says

¨William II?¨

so the teachear asks ¨where is he from¨

she says ¨he´s from the english revolution right?¨

don´t know if the teacher said yes but the ponit is that it was very clear he was from england

and after thinking for a few minutes she says Ï don´t know¨, to make things worse there were posters with hints for that question all over the classroom

also the same teacher asked a guy the day of the mexican independence ( I live in mexico so he should really be stupid to not know) and he said a totally different date

Next time you hear someone say that, tell them you are going to get the grammar police after them and see what they do

Well this one more plays into the actions involved with what was said, but it is great and hillarious.

I had a very strange but badass teacher in my old high-school (granted I never had his class). At some point in his life he got into an accident or something and died like 5 times on the way to the hospital. By some freaking miracle he had survived the incident but had lost an eye, so he had a glass eye.

Now for the funny. As you might expect in high-school you get kids who act up and what not. He had the BEST WAY EVER of dealing with this.

He would tell a kid "I'm keeping my eye on you" and he would TAKE OUT HIS GLASS EYE AND LEAVE IT ON THEIR DESK!!!
