If you are under 18 most states require stores to accept returns from minors no matter how long it's been since purchasing the item no matter what condition the item is in.
Florida is one that does NOT have legislation outlining whether they allow it or not.
So check your state's laws.

They always ask you when you buy something if you want to get the gameplay guarantee on it for some extra money.
That's the thing that everyone always reflexively answers "no" to. :P

Odds are that if what I said holds true in Canada the store won't be aware of it. So you'd have to argue with corporate.
Then again you can set yourself up a lawsuit if the store refuses...
