Will George Lucas ever make anything placed after RoTJ for Movie/TV Show?

When the special edition of the origional saga was released in theatres back in the 90's I heard a bunch of rumors that there were also going to make an Episode VII, VIII, and VIIII for theatrical release. Later these rumors were ceased and RoTJ was actually the end of the six (nine) episode saga.

Besides books do you think there will be anything after RoTJ for Movies/TV show? in the near future?

I wouldn't really care. If the most recent trilogy is any indication, episodes VII VIII and IX would be mediocre at best.Luncbox1

The story was there they just picked a lot of terrible actors (except for Ewen Mcgregor)

They need to make some KOTOR movies or miniseries

but a full-blown TV series spanning a whole season? no way

We know that Lucas said that there will be no new trilogy, because the films are about Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader, but I don't remember Lucas saying anything about a TV series after ROTJ, but it would be cool if he made a TV series after ROTJ, and maybe one for Kights Of The Old Republic.

They should make one more, with all the original cast, set many years in the future.

I totally agree With Most of What You Just Said, Apart from 1 thing, The Fett cant be killed, He Just goes into Hibernation every couple of years so People THINK hes dead, Like In Episode 2 He Didnt get his head chopped off, he ducked and Sam jackson Just Knocked His Hat Off, It All Makes sense when you Look At It!

If he is washed up in ten years and needs money I wouldn't be surprised. Although he'd have to have a very rough ten years for that to happen.

When making the origional trilogy the plan was to make episodes IV, V, VI, then go back and make episodes I, II, and III, and then make episodes VII, VIII and IX. The prequel and sequel trilogies were canceled. Can't remember why. Then he decided to go back and do the first 3 episodes, but he has said he will not do the final 3 episodes (but then he said that about the first 3, so there is a chance he will).
