With global warming, the sea level is rising faster than what most people think and i have concluded it when i watched a documentary film of National Geographic Channel. So what would happen to Philippines and other island nations? What do you think the people will do? Mass immigration? Would some countries accept this? If no country would accept, what then will happen?

I highly doubt the Philippines would migrate somewhere else. The Philippines is already overpopulated and the population is getting higher and higher every year and why? Because the church is preventing abortion, use of condoms, etc. If the sea level rises to the point where the Philippines would become the next Atlantis, I really don't see what it could do. Panic, chaos and riots would be everywhere.

Eh, I don't know. while we need to cut down on waste and pollution, I'm starting to doubt we are in any real trouble. The whole "green" scheme is becoming a retail scandal since most products being marketed as green or organic are barely reachng the government standards to qualify as those.

If it does, it will take quite some time. During the decades that it takes to completely consume them, the rest of the world would have came up with a transition plan for the people. It will maybe do some damage to some economies or neighborhoods, but these types of things will take a long time to happen. It's not like one month its there, and the next engulfed by water...

Indeed, Al Gore was one of the producers of that film, and he also wrote the screenplay. If I were you TC, I'd invest in a urine recycling machine.

Somebody has certainly been drinking the kool aid.

By the way, since global warming was supposed to make hurricanes stronger and more numerous, why is it that we're 4.5 months into the 6 month hurricane season and haven't had one hurricane hit the U.S.?
