f you mean- will men and women ever be equally matched physically? no, they wont. Men, as a whole, tend to excell in activities that require large exersions of strength at given times; where women tend to excell in activities that require endurance and extended periods of muscle activity. As a genralization, our two genders will always be differant enough that one or the other will be dominant in a given field. In high school it was us, the guys basketball team, vs. the girls team. We played them like any other oponent and pressed the whole game. They made it past half court 1 time, and got 1 shot off the whole game. We won 126 to 0.

Actually it doesn't. You can have the quickest team in the whole tournament, but without any plans, you are screwed. It happened to my soccer team. We were quick and had the skills, but we didn't know how to properly shoot from different angles. We would end up tying because of it.

umm... men have just as good, if not better fundamentals in basketball. You THINK the NBA players rely on only athletic ability, but looks can be decieving. When players get to that level, when they are THAT GOOD, they do what works for them.. they are still fundamental, but put their own spin on it. Know what I'm saying? Trust me. I know several college basketball players from all over the country, and a few NBA players. Nic wise, jai lucas, michael beasley, mike singletary, chase budinger, martin zeno, etc. I know and have played against all those college players. Even if it looks like they are relying on "pure talent", they are not. They are past the "pure fundamental" stage..

Women look like they still are very "fundamental" because they are not good enough not to be.
