Will you be watching the Oscars tonight?

Considering the whole show is 3 hours long, I'm actually not expecting a huge response here of people saying they'll tune in tonight.

Anyone planning on watching at least some of the Academy Awards tonight, and who/what film are you rooting for?

No. It would have been interesting if Eddie Murphy was still hosting, but after he stepped dow, they went with the bland, safe option--Billy Crystal...again.

It will be so predictable, but yeah.

Only to see if Terrance Malick gets some love today or not.

Yep.

My wife and i do every year. We usually have an Oscar party for all our friends. We used to bet on the winners, eat, drink and have fun. Sadly we moved out West and have no one to enjoy the day with. This year though, we have only seen a few of the nominated films so it wont be an educated guess as to who wins. We usually see every film nominated, or try too. We PVR the show so we don't have to watch 30 people get on stage to accept an award, or 3 minute long speeches. It's the only way to watch them. 5 hours into 1.
