Well dang it all. I looked up how wine reduces cancer for a bit of a refresher (I was going to bug my friend with it) and what do I get? Several articles saying that all that news we heard from 2007-2009 about wine reducing cancer were wrong. Instead the articles say if you want to avoid cancer you should switch to a wine with less alcohol in it and furthermore when you actually read the articles it says "people who do not consume alcohol at all have a lower chance of getting cancer than those that do."

I want wine to be good for me again.

In three years wine will combat IBS, then two years after that it will be proven to cause it. I love wine and won't stop drinking it for anything.

Also, when natural foods or ingredients are "found to be" beneficial or harmful, I am sure it's such a small tic mark one way or the other. Journalists have a way of making scientific discoveries (ESP. medical ones) seem paradigm shifting ...

I don't know about cancer but wine improves cardiovascular health for sure. Studies and tests have been made, can't deny that.

We're all going to get cancer eventually, we might as well enjoy the time we have. Wine is one of the few alcoholic drinks I enjoy and I won't be giving it up any time soon.
