Winter is nearly upon us

Wow, it's hard to believe it's almost Winter (December 21). The years/months/weeks/days just blend together so quickly now, don't they? What are you doing this Winter? Also, share your favorite Winter memories here.

I like winter. Summer is so hot. Spring is nice with breezes. Winter has snow which is fun.

I love winter, it's my favourite season! I just love going skating, and the snow is always so beautiful. I think I'm going snowboarding this year too so that should be fun :)

I usually have a snowball fight with some friends.

I like winter best time of the year.

Next weekend I have to start the long process of putting up all the lights and doing battle with the neighbors across the street. :x

This is why I'm glad I live in a condo. I don't have to decorate!!!!!

Winter is boring. All it does is rain and gets cold. Very frustrating.

Winter has always been my favorite season, but for some reason I'm dreading it this year. We got some snow yesterday and it just didn't thrill me too much. I guess I'm just sick of driving and walking on ice. It's still better than summer though.t3hrubikscube

I absolutely hate the winter season. Apart from xmas there is not one positive thing about it. Getting up at 6:30 in the morning to walk roughly 500 meters to the busstop in -10 degrees celcius with snow reaching all the way to your crotch area (and i am +6 feet tall by the way) isn't exactly my cup of tea.

Winter is so annoying in DC. It's bitter cold but there's hardly any snow. It also lasts longer than summer.

Last year was fun though, we got 21 inches.

I hate this season with a passion: I was born in it, too cold and it snows a lot from where I'm at.

Well, here in Minnesota, if there is already snow on the ground, it's officially winter, even if it's before December 21st.

I don't really like it. It's too cold and depressing. The only things I like about winter are snowball fights and Christmas.

Hmmmm....My favorite winter memories are every Christmas from my childhood. I miss the magical feel is used to have when I was a little kid and believed in Santa. Its hard to explain but everything just felt so exciting.

Doesn't usually get cold here until around January or February. Currently got my ceiling fan on as fast as it'll go. Winter to me means resisting holiday sales and trying to not become a materialistic consumer.

If you're a tophat wearing snowman yes.

Winter in Florida is always a welcomed change since summer down here consists of 95 degrees with 100% humidity.

I like the way everything is dead and quiet during winter...but the cold part kind of sucks at times.

It's already winter, though. It started snowing over here like 5 days ago.

Winter is hell as far as I'm concerned. Though, this year I do have some pretty high hopes. I want to try snowboarding and skiing and maybe go up to one of those big ski resorts to test my stuff. Beyond that, it's going to suck. God, I hate cold weather!
