http://www.kdvr.com/news/kdvr-accused-of-throwing-water-erie-102210,0,2314581.story

Long story short, a road rage incident concluded with an Erie, CO woman throwing water at the car she was raging with, and the child was hit by some of it because the window was slighly rolled down. I think it's RIDICULOUSLY absurd that she be charged with child abuse, because water is not harmful, unless it's scalding or you're drowning someone with it. So what do you think? Should be charged with child abuse?

It's as ridiculous as the guy who was arrested for public indecency of being naked at his freaking house.

Uh, shouldn't they BOTH be charged with road rage? (I'm not exactly 100% sure what legally qualifies as "road rage" but the guy pulled over to her and flipped her off, that's gotta count for something right?) and how the **** is sprinkling water on a baby child abuse? Does that mean every time we give babies a bath we're heavily abusing them?

It wasn't her kid. It was the kid of the guy she was raging with that she hit with the water.

Maybe for showing aggression in front of a child but not for the water bit. I mean I wouldn't want some lady yelling at me in front of my child

eh, it was normal house, but his curtain was open. But then again, you couldn't see it unless you actually looked closely at the inside of his house, which this lady (plaintiff)..... did, for some reason.

Wow, pretty soon, everyone and their moms are gonna sue everyone else for looking at them funny. The child abuse bit hopefully won't hold up in court.

I believe a judge ruled in his favor that this was NOT public indecency on account that A. His house is not public B. You have to voluntarily be looking into his house to see this.

It was made even further ridiculous by the fact that the woman was trespassing on his private property early in the morning when it happened.
