Not sure if it was already posted but this lady was driving and all of a sudden a stick of wood stabs right through her windshield missing her by inches. Just thought I'd share.

I'm pretty sure the car supplied a good portion of that velocity. :P:shock:
wow... Im surprised that piece of wood got enough velocity to do that...

Actually, she had the velocity. This illustrates the reason for not following so closely behind someone rather clearly.
I am going to assume this is the same video I have seen all over on Tosh.0, Fox, and CNN.
It is absolutely terrifying footage in my mind. In terms of scary **** you never want to happen to you while driving on the freeway, that ranks just behind a car coming at you head on and the foot of Godzilla slamming down in front of you.
[QUOTE="TheArGaia"]supposedly she was filming because the 2 trucks were holding up traffic which is kinda lame in my opinion which is the reason I'm a little suspicious. But it looks so real :O So basically.. She got a new phone and was on her way home, and decided it would be a good time to test out her phone's video recording. :PWhy was she filming in the first place?

My thoughts exactly. Who in their right mind is holding a camera filming while driving down the highway? Why was she filming in the first place?

[QUOTE="TheArGaia"]My thoughts exactly. Who in their right mind is holding a camera filming while driving down the highway? She claims it's because that there were two trucks driving slow and essentially blocking the road. Why was she filming in the first place?

Yeah really. Never know when someone is going to be focusing more on a videocamera than his/her driving.I found this terrifying. Makes me never want to drive or ride in a car. :|

Nearly killed by wood eh? The puns, oh the puns.
On topic: WHY was whe just filming herself driving along?

She was taking the video on her phone so she could complain to the companies of the truck drivers. The truck drivers were side by side and blocking traffic from passing, so she was going to make a complaint. Watching the video, the camera seemed very steady, so she likely had both hands on the steering wheel while taking the video. Whoever said it was her fault for following too close is mosty likely a bad driver who likes creating traffic.
