Work at 15

Hey guys what up, I come to the OT board which i barely visit cause well I need some OT info you know!hehe anyways, I was wondering if you guys know anything about working in the USA at 15?Im currently 15 and really want to get a job to get some money and stuff.Anyway, I know there are some special laws about this, but a google search could not find them(maybe im not using the right keywords o.O).So if you guys know any information about what i need to do where i can work and stuff I would appreciate it.Also some common stores that you know hire 15 year olds might help(in United States once again).

Yeah I used to fix cars, change oil, change tires, clean stuff and fill trucks up with gas for my dad and at my moms office, I had an office job where I filed and really did nothing.

Eventually, I got my frst car and a good job out of them.

Right now I'm just working on oil changes and tire changes...I'm taking transportation Technology right now at my high school so I can learn more about cars...

But damn, it's getting hectic with tire changes now that winter's around the corner...

Umm well you see I can't really work where my dad or my mom works, and most of my family lives in another country so those are not options to me.Im just wondering about other stuff liek lets say best buy(ok i dont mean this specific store but the like)

15 year olds can get jobs. I started my job at 15. And as regrettable as it was, it was still legal. But if I were you, I'd wait til you were 16, cuz then you can snag the better jobs (in MI, you have to be 16 to be a stock person, because of "boxcutters of doom" lol). Enjoy youth as much as possible. I'm still young (17) but I've been working for 2 years now and it's a real drag. :(. But if money is that important to you, then have at it.Shiggums
