Why can't users share their own amazing art?thegergBecause there is already a thread for that. This is strictly for professional art.
[QUOTE="SaintWalrus"][QUOTE="thegerg"]Why can't users share their own amazing art?thegergBecause there is already a thread for that. This is strictly for professional art. Why can't users post their own professional art? I have no doubt that there are some professional artists here. But the vast majority of people here do not get paid for their art. And the vast majority aren't at professional level.
This thread is like a Poetry slam
You don't read your own work, you read others work that has been published.
So think of it like an art slam
i'm sorry, but this thread makes no sense to me. So you want users to post art that is NOT theirs? and just post artworks from other artists....?
Nevermind, it does makes sense to me. it just sounds.....pointless. :|
I rather see OT users posting their artworks :)
The point of the thread is to introduce amazing art by great artists that were once unknown to users.i'm sorry, but this thread makes no sense to me. So you want users to post art that is NOT theirs? and just post artworks from other artists....?

mind = blownRules: The art cannot have been done by you. Nobody wants to see your animated porn that you upload to deviantart.
Can be either Pencil, paint, sculpture, or other objects classified as art
SaintWalrus
no way that is real
That trash photo is very real
Look up Dirty White trash, they've done others (some albeit gross) that are equally amazing.
Topic title changed to include all art, professional or None.
I've always liked Salvatore Dali. As for things that have 'moved me,' I never felt moved by a painting.
But, most of all..
Sorry if you expected paintings/sculptures, but it's much easier for me to appreciate a masterpiece in music or literature than it is in paintings/sculptures.
