Who do you think makes the worst cars?
Personally, I vote for Chrysler. I find most vehicles they've produced in the past 10 years to be hideous looking. They consistently rank low in quality rankings and their cars get terrible mpg.

just spent 3 weeks driving a rented 2011 chrysler 200 over 7500 miles around the country. have no complaints about it. car was very comfortable ( sitting it it 6-9 hours a day ). plenty of room for a lot of camping gear. and got decent highway mileage the whole trip ( 28-32 mpg ).Who do you think makes the worst cars?

superfluidity
I used to think the same. Had a friend who rolled one, don't ask. And walked away without a scratch. All cars have problems, no matter what the make or model; there is no escaping it. However, if I were to not want a car becasue of what could happen it would be anything made by Ferrari. Their cars come equipped with fire extinguishers because if they sit too long in traffic there is a slight risk of the engine catching fire.Scion, those cars are damn death traps :|

Uh, why? You don't like your cars safe and reliable? The 100k or 10 year warranty too long for you? You like spending money on gas? lolstay away from hundai

Hundai is becoming the biggest up and coming car company out there... Its getting great ratings.
Hundai's models in the early 2000s were really unreliable from what I've heard, but they've been working to change their reputation and it seems to finally be paying off.
I wouldn't want to own a Chrysler that's for sure. Most GMC and GMC subdivisions (like Pontiac) are down there as well.
I would never own a Dodge/Chrysler anything. So that i guess. Pre 2000 i would have said Ford based on all the AOD crap.
I'd say whatever company is responsible for this

LOL, at least the cargo was safe.Reliant
the company that brought us the Robin aka the plastic pig
this 3 wheeled, plastic, death trap was quite popular in the north of the UK in the 80's due to the fact that too drive one you only needed a motorbike license to to the 3 wheels.
to see just how dangerous and awful this hateful 'car' was allow mr clarkson to demonstratehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQh56geU0X8

no, those are all very well nice things i could get just as easily from my 86 cutlass supreme after a dedicated tune up. i had a friend who worked in a hundai lot and majority of them sounded like they could fall apart with all the rattling.
chevy, chrysler, ford.... though right now they are making much better vehicles than they have been the last few decades.
I would never own anything from Chrysler.

It's funny to see all the posts against Chrysler, and most likely none have owned one. My 300 Hemi will smoke most cars on the road, and I still get great gas mileage. Nobody seems to know that it is a 1 HP per cubic inch supercar.topsemag55I swear to God, if you say that one more time.... :x

Take a look at Jeep, Dodge and Chrysler on that page. Dodge gets the lowest rating in every category. Jeep gets the lowest in every category but one. Chrysler is mediocre to poor in every category.
My first car was a 1990 Jeep Cherokee btw. Not only was it completely dead at around 130k miles, but it had constant mechanical problems from 50k onward.

@Atmanix That is the funniest thing I've seen in a while. LOL, thanks for making my day.I'll have to say Zastava Automobiles.... makers of the infamous Yugo, which was voted worst car of all-time.

Police use them because they can get massive deals if they buy in bulk. Our police force ran Dodge vehicles for 3 years before switching back to Fords.
The worst car company, and I do speak from experience, is Dodge/Chrysler. Did they have a great time in the 60's and 70's? Of course. But they're now owned by Fiat so... yeah.
