Worst cover song you have ever heard?

There's alot of bands that think it would be cool to cover a famous song. Some get it right, usually when they respect the original artist or are a huge fan. Some, just do it to get famous, or think it would be cool. Personally, I wouldn't cover a song unless I absolutely loved the song and loved the artist. If I couldn't make it sound anywhere respectful I wouldn't play it. Too bad other bands don't have the same beliefs and we end up with horrible covers.

Anyway...

I would have to say Tokio Hotel's cover of Instant Karma.

Snoop Dogg's cover of Sad But True by Metallica is pretty bad, so it's probably the worst I've seen not counting bands that seem to exist for the sole purpose of ending up on YouTube videos with the title "Worst Cover EVER!" or those Avril Lavigne cover atrocities I just plain don't like thinking about...

justin bieber covering Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' and Walk This Way. I never though I'd hear some one insult 2 of the greatest vocalists within 30 seconds of each other.

A metal Band covered land of confusion......................my ears bleed.

I've had the unfortunate opportunity to play a couple shows with a little band called Epifade. They suck. I mean they SUCK. But every show they cover a Nirvana song or two. My god. They are horrible. The little girl-lookin' kid murders those lyrics. Once, they had his girlfriend sing for them. Seriously, all but four people left. Those four people were their friends.

I've ruined More Than a Feelin' on a few occasions, but to be fair I hated the song and I hate covering it, it's only good if you're really drunk.

I personally don't like cover songs, with the exception of Jimi Hendrix's All Along the Watchtower. One of the main reasons is because almost all of them are worse than the original and people just complain about how bad the cover was.
