I mean, if all his movies are based on the idea that there's a twist to them, the twist will be anticipated, and people will be looking for it early on. In films like The Village, it was incredibly easy to tell the twist early on. In Signs, the twist was just ridiculous and anticlimactic, much like Unbreakable's twist. Good enough movies without Shyamalan's reputation, but he ruins his movies before anyone sees them, and that's depressing.-Twilight-Well that is why The Happening sucked so much. There was no twist, the movie ended making no sense and being as pointless as when it began. The twist in the happening [spoiler] was that it wasn't just something in the air, the planet/plants/trees/w.e was actually attacking the people and it wasn't just some scientific mystery [/spoiler] That is even worse then no plot twist at all.
