Worst nightmare ever?

I once dreamt that I died for no reason. Just dropped dead to the floor and couldn't breathe, and everything sort of faded away. Was pretty damn creepy. What about you?

Me in the hospital, it was like watching a slideshow of images, I was in the bed with life-support and that. I also saw a golden bridge in one of the images. :?

First, I had very realistic and vivid dream, I dreamt that I woke up and went downstairs to get myself some water. As I went down the stairs, I remember tumbling down the stairs and then going unconscious. Afterwards I found myself back in my bed (as if I had woken up). Next thing I knew, I was in a state of sleep paralysis. I remember seeing shadows and lights coming down from the ceiling, it felt like they entered my mouth. Then I snapped out of it and found myself in my bed, confused and sweaty.

i've had many but there was one that i had recently that really scared me so badly. I don't know how this came about but i was walking in some sort of grungy factory place and there was a dead body there. I looked at the body and it was all mutilated and bloody. I then heard heaps of people around me saying that i was the one that had killed the person and i was so shocked that i started screaming out as loud as i could. I fell down onto the ground and started shaking and screaming and no matter what i did i just couldn't stop and then i started screaming louder and louder until i woke up and was so scared i couldn't go to sleep all night.

Man you guys must be disturbed. I've got nothin

I'm 25 but this dream from when I was a kid always pops up... My lil sister had this "my-size" barbie where she was like 3 ft tall, growing up I always hated dolls(chuckie, Barbies, etc.)... so I ALWAYS have a F'ed up dream where that EXACT barbie comes alive and chases me. I had one recently during the day - sleeping on the train I thought the Barbie was the train conductor and somehow ran the train off the track to kill me... I woke up and I was couple stops from where I had to be... yeah, I'm weird...

I would be in a lucid dream, expecting to get out, when suddenly I would just transition to another dream. It would freak me out. I would squeeze my eyes shut to fall "awake," hoping to finally end the dream chain.

I was watching a nuclear bomb go off in the distance. I saw it coming towards me and when it hit me, I felt intense pain for a split second. Everything went black afterwards. It felt completely real to me and scared the crap out of me. l4dak47

The worst for me that stands out right now however, was a dream in which I held down on my bed by my blanket as thousands of fist sized black widows with bat wings, were crawling and flying all over my bed and me. I woke up screaming..

I'd take cockroaches over flying black widows any day :P.

I have two. I'm pretty sure I must have eaten something with acid in it before these.

#2 I was walking down my street at night, and I was with my two cousins. It was raining and the streetlights looked really creepy. Somehow I knew that we were the last three people alive on the earth, and that aliens had killed everyone else. In panic mode we ran into my house and up the stairs to my parent's bathroom. We got into the shower and closed the curtain. All the sudden there were two random people in the room. I think they were husband and wife. Anywayz, they were both dentists. So they came and got into the shower with us and they were kinda panicy too. For some reason me and my cousins walked out of the bathroom and when we came back a minute later and pulled back the shower curtains all that was there was their heads!!! And they had dental tools sticking out of their mouths!! So we ran back down the stairs and just as we got to the bottom three random people walked in. My cousins like ran up to them and were all relieved and I was like" NOOO its a trap!!" lol then the three people exploded and there were really big jellyfish inside them, and they ate our brains. Pretty creepy.

#1 (Most Scary, also this dream has been a recurring dream though I haven't had it for a few years.) So its starts out with an overhead view of this factory place. It zooms in and it goes inside. Then its like in this hallway where everything is white and there are like vases and stuff. For some reason the factory workers are those thumb thumb things off of spykids. So there are these things walking around the factory then suddenly they all start walking into another part of the factory. There are these gigantic thumb thumb thingys there and they start stomping on the little ones. Then its over. I don't know why it is so scary but I just feel horrified by this dream.

I was in Brokeback Mountain opposite to Jake Gyllenhal...

There was also the one about worms crawling through and into my body from every which way.

Maybe you were in an anomaly like in the episode "Twisted" on Voyager that screws the ship all up. :P

I was strapped to a table of some sort and people were looking at me, sewing my lips shut. Then this woman with bright red hair came in (no idea who she was) and all I wanted was for them to keep her out, don't let her near me, don't let her near me. They got rid of her and left me on the table overnight with my lips half-sewn shut. In the middle of the night, the red-haired girl came in with a needle and kept saying "I'll be gentle," and she sewed my lips shut all the way and moved to my eyelids. I broke the threads keeping my lips shut and it was the first time I ever heard myself scream in a dream, it was terrifying. Then the woman stuffed some kind of putty in my mouth that stuck to my teeth, screaming "I'LL BE GENTLE" over and over again, then she forced my mouth open and the putty ripped most of the teeth out of my head, shattering my jaw.Theokhoth

That's the only series I haven't seen... It was far too slow for me for most of the series, but I am going to force myself through it to get to the Dominion War storyline.

Oh yeah, I have another pretty bad one. I dreamt that I was at my grandparent's place and there were some dogs that tried to get into the house. I eventually let them in because I thought something like "if I don't let them in now, they'll be really pissed if they do get in...". Then when they did get in, I realized they weren't dogs, but a bunch of teenagers, and everyone was a lot taller than me. I don't really remember what happened, but for some reason I started a fight with one of them. At first he was kicking my ass, but then I got angry and suddenly found that I had grown in both size and strength. I beat the guy to death by first hitting him over and over and then bashing his head into the wall several times.

What freaks me out about this is that the dream didn't freak me out at all, I felt no remorse or anything (which I always have done before when doing bad stuff in dreams)...

When I was a little kid... like 6 - 8 yr old... I had one weird nightmare.

It was night. I was sitting on ground. and suddenly i see something in the end of corridor (5 meter long.)
I was in other room ... looking thru opend doors. it was so really dark and I couldnt see anything but scary eyes.
It walks to me... and in half way i see its Death. I mean skeleton in long dark clothes like this.


And then I s**t my pants... xd

Worst one I can remember was when I dreamed I was on the bed and some ghost girl kept whispering for someone named Diane or something ( I know no Dianes ). There was a crushing weight on my chest and when I didn't reply to her no matter how many times she called out, she finally let out some eerie shriek. I woke up shaken and nearly in tears from fright. :cry:

Excluding two sleep paralysis experiences, the my scariest dream I had when I was little. In the dream, everything felt real as my family and I lived a normal life in our house, the only thing that really differentiated it from reality was the ghostly woman in white that lived in a sort of dungeon under our houses structure. I remember seeing her passing back and forth as I tried to get a glimpse of what was under our house through a floor vent only for her to stop and peer up directly at me. My family in my dream told me never to open the door at the end of our hallway (which was in my IRL house as well, only it led up to an attic which I was scared as **** of), because it led to the dungeon and opening it would let her out, so I kept my distance in the dream. The feeling of being close to the door was extremely eerie and real. The dream ended when my mentally retarded brother (has 4XY syndrome) opened the door because he thought it would be funny (he always does mischievous things for the lulz IRL). I screamed at him to close the door and my family all realized and escaped while I was standing in the hallway watching as she floated out and started hovering toward me slowly. I felt the need to go back for my teddy bear, so I ran to my room right next to where I was standing, grabbed it and ran back trying to make it to the door, but no matter how hard I ran in my dream I couldn't make it to the end of my hallway and she kept getting closer and closer. Then I woke up with my heart pounding like a sledgehammer against my chest. Needless to say, I wasn't able to sleep for the rest of the night.

Last night I had a dream that I was in a store, and a crazy lady comes in with a gun and starts going on a killing spree. Everyone was on the floor and she would just go to random people and shoot them in the head.

But then it turned into me watching a movie, with myself in it, where I stab the lady in the head with a knife, and then her gun goes off and shoots my mom in the head, and when I grab the gun from her it goes off again and shoots my friend in the stomach.

Then I'm back in the store, not in movie mode, and the police comes in and sees me with the gun.

Then I'm back to watching it as a movie, and the police shoots me (in the movie) in the head.

Then I walk out of the theatre and can't rememeber the rest.

Yeah, it's not that scary but I don't usually have nightmares.
