Tomb Raider1-2 and Resident Evil 1/2
Movies based on games usually suck because they tend to explain the story or "reconstruct" it so that people who have not played the game could understand rather than following the original storyline of the game to please the gamers.
I pray that they don't make an MGS movie...
Doom was quite terrible because they changed the premise from the demons coming from hell to them coming from a virus or something stupid.grunt1096A yes, but Doom had nudity. And The Rock! So thus it cannot be the worst. My vote goes for Super Mario Brothers, as it had absolutely nothing to do with the game.
Super Mario Bros...just no. TheProtecterSeconded. A movie with Bob Hoskins surely could never suck that much.
You should be happy that Kojima and David Hayter(Snake's English VA) are working very closely with the MGS movie.Tomb Raider1-2 and Resident Evil 1/2

The second on the other hand is absoutely awful and gets my vote as the worst since Im such a huge MK fan.

I at least sat through MK.
Hitman.
Within twenty minutes this stone cold clone who is genetically improved for speed and thought--not to mention trained to kill at the highest level of profession--
falls for a hooker and becomes a good guy, instead of being the grey man he is meant to be
.
I hated the Silent Hill movie.
I've never played any games in the series but I'd imagine the movie did a diservice to the series.
Was there ever a good video game movie?slimdave21
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.
That meets the criteria for "good"? I thought it was horrible...

Was there ever a good video game movie?raven_squad
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.
That meets the criteria for "good"? I thought it was horrible... For real... That movie had like no plot whatsoever, and the dialogue was just horrible. The only good thing about that movie was that we got to see the world of FFVII one more time, and the visuals. The Zelda movie released in 2002 was terrible.QuantumNihilism
Thats funny, must be so bad cause i don't even rememebring it coming out, lmao
I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned the Dead or Alive movie.bird-manProbably because no one has seen it. It only made like $500,000 in its entire US theatrical run.
