Indeed. Since when do schools have the right to impliment manditory drug testing? At my school they would bring in a dog and check the lockers like maybe once a year.

Sorry to hear about your freinds dude, You may still have a trace of the Narc in your hair, ok this is from memory and even then I read it from a paper so I don't trust it 100% ; Your hair will keep a pattern of what you have ingested and taken, it stores them in the hair strand in such detail that scientist can tell that you didn't eat enough Vit C 3 -4 weeks back or that you were popping drugs like a 6yr old in a sweet store. The closer the strand of hair is to the scalp the stronger the imprint. when hair reaches the tip it is usually very dead and dry and does not contain much information. As this happened in October that hair will more than likely have lost its image of the hash, don't worry though. Even if they do detect it they still have to proof it, you could have been on the subway standing next to a Rasta who smoking a branch of a hash tree at the time 3 months ago or anything really. Failing that, get a haircut, go back if they still want to give you trouble demand to be re-tested its your right, this time it should be neg :P

Not only am i grounded till who knows when (because i failed a math test that i actually tried and studied for), but yesterday i just heard 2 of my good friends from last year were killed! omg..and now today, i was drug tested at school, and i smoked some hash way back in october, so im freaking out if it will come up in my hair testing (since i havent cut my hair since october either...so it might be there. IF you know anything whether its not or how long weed/hash stays in someones hair please let me know!) Ugh, what a bad week

Drug tests involving hair dont actually test just the hair but the folical it comes from as well. Those tests can trace THC back as far s 3 years now. Enjoy your time in juvie, make some new friends.

Hey no problems man, anytime. If your worried about your parents, my advice there as well is just be honest, I've found as I grew up that if I had done anything stupid (like when I broke a complete strangers car window by falling over) it was always better to be 100% honest with them, sure they'll get annoyed there your parents but they will forgive and forget a hell of a lot quicker, if you don't tell them and then come back one day after being suspended they will be more angry and it will stick in their heads for a lot longer

Don't worry man, you will be fine were taking a long time since you actually took the stuff so you will be fine. Don't worry to much about your mum, she is naturally going to be a little annoyed with you but if you can keep out of trouble with her until the results she will be cool with it i imagine. Always remember this is only one stage in your life, alright its not a great stage but would it be the end of the world if you were suspended for 10 days? Prob not I imagine. You sound like a smart kid who just lucked out, belive me it happens to everyone and you will be fine.
