So here's the deal. I'm 19 years old and have these strict, traditional-valued parents who I still live with. If I date a girl around the same age and we end up having sex, whether she lives on her own or not, would she not mind me not being able to stay til morning? My parents would know what I was up to if I returned in the morning. They'd be really pissed and might even throw me out. It would also be really hard to make up a story. They won't believe that I slept over at a guy's house since they don't believe guys do that.

So would a girl not mind this? I could leave instead a little post-midnight.

I'm not sure. It sounds like a grey area. I'm sure she won't mind to much, if you explain it to her, and not just skip out while she's asleep. :P
Anyway, it's better than coming back to her the next day with a bunch of boxes asking if you can move in.

You probably have nothing to worry about since you haven't yet found a girl willing to have sex with you

At 19 you are a grown man. You should move out little brother. You need to start making decisions for yourself. With questions like this, it will be a miracle if you can get a woman to sleep with you. Women want a man who is decisive and knows where he is going.

Man up!

As long as you aren't just bailing, I doubt she would care.

Yes... But sex in the morning after sex the night before is the BEST. Tell your parents you slept at a girls house, say your 19 and you can handle yourself. If they try to throw you out.. THROW DEM OUT!

Well but seriously, I never had the luxury of having parents that actually gave a damn about me, you should feel blessed in that department. Hopefully you'll move out in the next couple of years and make your own rules.

Theres your answer. If not just say you are going out with your friends and that you decided to spend the night at your friends house because it was too late to come home and you didn't want to bother your parents. Say you forgot your keys or something. Why not do it in the day? Do you have to do the deed at night or something?

From a parents point of view.......most likely see through it especially if he has a gf...and I assume he's talking relationship here....and some parents are strict with their rules. So if they aren't okay with him staying overnight....then he should get his own place and make his own rules.

Hmmm... Well, then I'd say that point was well hidden, sir. But sharp nonetheless :)

Seriously, though. TC, just have sex in the afternoon. It'll solve all your problems.

She would probably understand (this is b/c she is already dating a 19 year old that still lives at home...so obviously it doesn't bother her enough to stay away). I think you should be more worried about what your parents think. They are still supporting you...and, as such, their house and their rules. Though I always wonder why people live at home after 18.

Yeah, people make too big of a deal out of sex. As long as he doesn't make his imaginary girl feel like a whore, everything should be cool.

Living at home during schooling saves you a ton of money, about $6000 a year where I live. Imagine how much booze (or saving up to buy an apartment, if that's your thing) that gets you. And yes I agree, so long as you're doing it for legitimate reasons, she wouldn't care unless she's some sort of psycho *****.

I agree there are benefits to living at home. But we all make our choices in life...so no one has room to complain about the consequences of such choices. I chose to do it all on my own (no room to complain about the quality of school I went to, having to work full time, or not having much money) TC chooses to live at home (no room to complain about the rules of such an arrangement)

So long as you're both using protection and common sense, it shouldn't really matter what your parents think at this point. You're 19. Tell them you're going to be pursuing a relationship and that if it involves sex, that you'll be smart about it and find somebody you care about. Give your parents the finger if they give you crap for it. I'll bet you one or both of them had premarital sex. If they say they didn't they're probably lying...

That is a rather sad way to look at things IMO.
1. I think there are lots of things to talk about that require no complaining whatsoever
2. I think it is perfectly fine to complain about things that you are not able to control/change (though I just don't see the point)

I am a Christian. But that has nothing to do with this. It would not matter what the rule was. His parents make the rules at this point and can set w/e rules they want for him. He can leave at any point and live by his own rules if he no longer wants to abide by the agreement in place.

Age doesn't matter when you live under someone's roof. You have to abide by the rules or pay your own way.

I think she would mind if you were 19. Your parents shouldn't still have such a grasp on your *****....

Just bang the chick and go home for christ sake. Tell your parents to deal with it. I'm sure they did the same at your age.

You are 19. Grow a pair and tell you parents to f*** off. This advice is coming from someone who moved out at 17 because his parents believe that everyone who has not spoken in tongues is going to hell. Well not just because that, but that is just an example of their craziness. They tried to control me with money too and I don't regret for one second telling them where they can stick it.
