Would the world be better off without men or women?

Assuming we all reproduced asexually and we didn't NEED one sex or the other. Which would the world be better off without?

The world is the way it is, so it needs both men and women. It's kind of hard to imagine the world with just one gender.

This is a man's world, but it wouldn't be nothin' without a woman or a girl.

I suppose if the world had just one gender, it wouldn't really bea gender would it? There'd be nothing to compare it to, so it'd just be the norm. Gah, I know what I mean. :|

Women only would be less aggressive, more cynical, serious and less war-like.

Men would be more war like, more aggressive, more immature, less intelligent, and incredibly juvenile.

I'd have to say that Women only would be better, and in truth even if they weren't asexual in this situation, the harvesting of sperm or the enslavement of men for sexual purposes only (harvesting of sperm, not actual sexual interaction, and you're probably kept in hibernation or in underground or aboveground prisons) would be a better choice for our planet.

However... the majority of technological advancement has been done by males, and so our technology levels would reduce themselves... and we can afford that? Seeing as how WE NEED to help our planet... not fix the society and be incapable of fixing the planet.

Women, but for vastly different reasons than what you have in your poll.

You see, women are naturally violent. A quick trip to the mall is enough to demonstrate that they can explode at a random stranger over the smallest things, resulting in mass catfights and lots of scratching. Imagine this on a global scale: Give women power over nukes and countries and they will rip eachother apart.

Enter men. Men evolved for the reason of calming women, usually by giving them a physically stronger outlet for their rage. If it weren't for men, women would have annihilated the entire female species in about 12 minutes, and probably over something as stupid as an exfoliant. Men exist merely to act as a buffer between women, to keep them from killing themselves. Men are the neutrons of the human species.

Men are the aggressive trait, in genetics the male genes breed any aggression, you know how those males with only female genes but male appearance, aren't aggressive and our female-like?

So yes, women may be a bit... angry at others easily, but this is generally because the males in the world have bred this on from birth, and they needed to act in that manner to defend themselves and survive in the world of males.

Did you know over 20% of the population of the world doesn't actually believe, or engage in sexual interactions?

This comes from groups of people focused more on their professions, or on their desires and experiences, or for other reasons... but when you decide to create weapons, they aren't because of sex, and when you build houses, they aren't for sex, and when you build space stations, they aren't for sex.

That is an INCREDIBLY big misjudgement on your part.

Just as much, the over-indulgence of sexual interaction is a form of immaterial pride, and that is a damnable offense... welcome to Hell, I suppose?

As violent men can be from instinct perspective, its essential for survival unfortunately. Its way of life, and women on their own probably couldn't survive as well. Asumming we start off all over again from day 1.
