That's just the anime, the reason for that is when Akira Troiyama was righting the manga, the anime was catching up too fast, so they had to add all those extra episodes so it wouldn't run over into the manga. So there is way less of that in the manga.:D

Well they did have to give him some time to come up with the stuff for the manga. The DBZ anime is good, but IMO the manga is way better.

I would consider myself a big DBZ fan, as I have bin for years, so I take much offence to this. Dragon Ball has revolutionised modern shonen manga/anime of today, and I don't know if he has, but Akira Toriyama should get an award for the master piece he has created.

I used to love that DBZ show when I was a kid! I don't remember frieza looking like that though. :? I'd hide in a corner and call my favorite character Vegeta.
