Would you be friends with him?

I was thinking about one of my friends that I don't see very often when I had this idea...

Basically, I want to know if you'd be friends with someone who had these traits:

Randomlydisappears for months at a time

Never answers his phone

Won't talk to your friends(seems kinda shy)

Shows up at your dooragain as randomly as he disappeared.

Never takes anything seriously

Doesn't really talk to you unless you speak first(or if you're doing something together like playing sports or games)

A horrid conversationalist(kinda awkward talking with him)

Never gives a straight answer to a question

Doesn't have an opinion on anything

Can't relate to anything(part of the badconversationalist thing)

When you do see him, you usually have a pretty good time(then he disappears again).

BTW, he's a 3 minute drive/30 minute walk away, if that changes anything...

So, given all these traits, would you be friends with a guy like this?

Some people are just quiet, they prefer to do stuff instead of talk. I am a good conversationalist, but I like prefer to do things.

Sounds like he might have some issues socializing with people. Maybe try and get him more involved and introduce him to more people ? Dunno, sounds like a really weird guy but sure i'd be his friend if he was fun to be around.

Have you asked him why.

If you are not related to this person, I'd say tell them to leave you alone.

sounds like half the people I meet in this town. I hate people who just show up at my door. I dont care who it is I will tell them to go the hell away and call before they just come to my house. My family doesnt even stop by without calling first.

i can understand being friendly, the dude's obviously got issues he's gotta deal with and u wanna help him out but why would you possibly want a friend like that? because when you do see each other you usually have a decent enough time? the only way i would consider with putting up with all that crap is if "he" were a female at least an 8, and i was getting head every time i see her without expecting me to return the favor. i wouldn't have sex with her. It's a bit like, would you be friends with this guy?

• He rumages through your draws, pulls out your pants and spits in them.
• He always tries to open the door when your in the toilet.
• He leaves grubby handprints on everything he touches
• He smells faintly of cabbage
• He ignors you, unless you speak to him, then he just gives a yes or no answer, even if it's not a yes or no question.
• He keeps trying to murder your pets.
• When ever your around him you have a great time and you wish he'll never leave.
