I feel like America is being flushed down the toilet...

When Al Franken becomes a Senator...

When Michael Jackson, History...(oops that's a U2 quote from the song "Playboy Mansion)...

For the first time in my life (30 years), I feel like I'm just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Maybe I would feel more secure if our president actually had a BIRTH CERTIFICATE... How the heck was he elected without one anyways?

the problem with leaving is there is nowhere else to go...every single other country is 10x's more liberal or islamic radicalist state. so in a nutshell we are just trying to play catch up with europe...get use to it this is the change yall voted for...what a mess...but yeah i have thought about it...but had no other alternative that was better.

Why would I leave the best country ever made. Our country makes dreams come true and supports equality. Its leagues above the other countries.

I would only consider leaving if the place I was going to was a beautiful tropical island with white sandy beaches and scantily-clad women. I'd also have to have a ****load of money to live off of. Being that that won't happen (for awhile anyway), I'm here to stay.

I have left America, but not because I hate it. I love my country, but sometimes you need to go where the work and money are. And that's what I did. Plus I'm doing work I really enjoy, so it's worth it even though I miss my home terribly.

Never. Now I'd love to live in the UK for part of the year when I retire. But Franken, quite a smart man, becoming a Senator doesn't mean the sky is falling. The voters of MN made their choice. Our country is nuts, especially when it comes to celebs, but beyond all that it's a fantastic place to live.

Not exactly proven... Obama Administration gave this document - http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/2008/06/obama-birth.html Which is not exactly an actual birth certificate per say, but when you are born in kenya without proof it is the best you can do on short notice....

I don't WANT to leave. But if we pass another stimulus bill, socialize health care, and keep getting into foreign affairs we have no business in then I'll have to consider it. Our dollar gets weaker by the day, and the further in debt we go the less likely other countries are going to be to take reserves in our dollar, which in turn weakens it even more.

What's wrong with being patriotic/loving our country? :? Anyway, the thing is we're not patriotic enough. I say next time we go to the moon, we drape a huge ass American flag that'll cover at least half of the surface there. That way, the ENTIRE WORLD can look up and see a constant reminder of just how kick-ass we are and feel proud as well. :)

It sounds a little funny, but my point isn't that I have a problem with foreigners or foreign countries in general. My problem is living in a country that tries to deal with the problems of other nations rather than serving the people who put the government in place. So I'd want to move to a country where the government isn't as concerned with what goes on elsewhere.

For example, I was amazed at how convinced many US politicians were that the Iranian elections were an issue that required their involvement.

Interestingly enough the founding fathers didn't like where it was headed at the time. Hmm...where would we be if they left.
