Would you date a virgin?

Well the title says it all.  Would you date a virgin?


Basically, I met a girl last week at a bar.  I went there for a friends birthday, and she is a friend of my friend.  Me and her danced alittle, and exchanged numbers and all that.  So we both know we are interested in each other.  She's hot and pretty, but you know in a few years that'll go down once she's married with children (Its the american way).  So I found out earlier that she is a virgin, and is very religious.  I told her I'm not either of those, and she's ok with it.  She's waiting till marriage, which is fine.  I however, dont.


So I'm 24, she is 22 in a few months.  We are both college students working on our bachelors, and we will both finish in 2015.  It's summertime in Arizona, so its basically party central here and it's pretty easy to meet new girls and have fun with them.  But, me and this girl have alot in common, so she might be the one for me.  But if I get in a relationship with her, it pretty much means no fun for me for another couple years, not even with her :(.  


I'm 24, so Now is my prime so I'm taking advantage of it.  If everything goes well and we end up getting married, then it'll be after we finish school (2 more years). If we date for a few years and end up not getting married, then I just wasted the best time of my life without even getting laid.  But, if everything goes good and we did get married, then awesome.


I kinda just want to party and continue on with seeing other girls, but I kinda like this one...what would you do?

plus, you can still do other stuff like oral n anal (unless that's against her religious beliefs as well?). maybe she'll grow out of her religious beliefs on that matter too

And yeah I totally agree with you. Besides if you find someone truly special to spend your life with and bring the relationship to the best level, I' m certain the sex part is going to be a lot more pleasurable.

Absolutely.  However, I don't consider a person who has done oral or had any other kind of sexual contact to be a "true virgin."  I have a problem with people who think they are living in accordance with their religious beliefs by sucking cock but not having intercourse.  That's cheap.

The status of someone's virginity isn't important to me, so yeah, I'd date a virgin. I would not, however, date someone who insists on waiting until marriage. I'm not going to make a life commitment to someone just to get off.

If you're that concerned about living your life to the fullest right now, I'd move on and start seeing other girls.

If I was single, and I liked the girl than yeah that would be fine with me. I don't know if I would be saying the same thing if I myself was a virgin though. As the years have passed I've realized that I have not been one to wait for the "proper time" for things, but once I have done those things I've mellowed out a bit. 

I honesly think that is a far more normal state of mind when it comes to things like sex.
