i agree, making friends is totally fine. but girlfriends? that is beyond sad. first of all, you have no way of knowing what they look like UNLESS they confirm it via webcam, second, if you need to resort to finding a relationship on the internet that means you're desperate, and third, it's just....wrong.....you can't touch them, kiss them, be with them, etc :|

As far as the thread, yes I would. There was actually a girl from Pensacola that posted here a couple of years ago. She sent me a PM, asking me if I had a myspace, and she was banned the next day. :(

too risky IMO. never know, she could've sent you fake pics all the time, and when you meet her, she might think "i bet he's a deep guy, and doesn't care how i look!" and could end up being a hideous, repulsive creature.....

I've met a women from GS...she was the exact same person as her pic showed.....if you build an honest friendship there is no reason to lie....

That's always a risk, but you're not going to meet the first girl that sends you a pm. If they build a friendship first, and decide to meet eachother, I don't think it's any more pathetic than meeting someone in, say, a bar.

That's always a risk, but you're not going to meet the first girl that sends you a pm. If they build a friendship first, and decide to meet eachother, I don't think it's any more pathetic than meeting someone in, say, a bar. Internet Relashionships are common these days
If they were female and lived within driving distance of me I wouldn't have a problem with that. I would never want a long distance internet relationship though.
yup..were still freinds...talk everyday...she got in a pretty bad car accident recently so she's not online as much right now... :( ohhh is she alright? did she get seriously injured? :(

she hurt her back pretty good.....wants to get back to work but the doctor won't let her.....she has another check up again next week.... ohhh shucks :( wish there was something i could do for her but sadly i don't have any healing spells to help her
