I met this good looking girl in a chair, I did not ask her out though.

I met a girl who went to Sociology class with me. She's not pretty and one day she fell in love with me. It was horrible. She even gave me a gift she bought while she was on vacation. All I had to do was thank her and try to show no interest. Though I feel bad for her :(
Not many positions you can do...

But you don't have to worry about putting stress on the legs.
Some wheelchair-bound people I've met would actually find that funny. This one particular guy I know is so lighthearted about his condition that he'll joke about it quite often. Two statements that immediately come to mind deal with him "standing up for himself" and one day while we talked in a parking lot a car started to come. His response was "If you run into a handicapped person you automatically go to hell." I then began laughing uncontrollably for several minutes. He is now happily married. Not to be horrible, but I'd have to be in love with her to even try. It would be pretty awkward and I'd probably slip up and accidentally say 'let's go for a walk' or mention cycling or something.

Im not generally a shallow person but her personality would have to be worth it. Assuming you actually made it in the long run, her disability would be a fairly sizeable burden for you both whether you admitted it or not.
Perfect answer. Same here.Im not generally a shallow person but her personality would have to be worth it. Assuming you actually made it in the long run, her disability would be a fairly sizeable burden for you both whether you admitted it or not.

I haven't seen that movie in ages, so I have no idea what you're talking about. :P
No. I would be worried about having kids born in wheelchairs.Razor-Lazor
As if childbirth wasn't painful enough, now there are chairs popping out?

I was referring to the amazingly stupid comment made in a topic similar to this.
Aren't you guys worried about kids with one hand and stuff though?Sbellybell
the real question should be, if the person you were dating, got into an accident and ended up in a wheelchair, would you continue to date them?nimatoad2000
For me...
That depends on the situation, if we were only dating for a week or a month, probably not.
If we had been dating for a year or two and I was ready to ask for her hand in marriage, probably.
