Would you date someone outside of your race?

I've asked five of my friends this, and only one of them said yes. I know I would since what really matters is how you connect.

EDIT: When I say race, I mean another human being with a different ethnicity. A girl who's Asian is an example for me because I'm white.

If I wasn't already married, I wouldn't have any problem dating someone of a different race.

I already have. I've dated a Chinese girl, a Dominican, and a girl of my own race(Black).

Of course I would. Most of the girls I've liked are white, though. I don't know if that's a coincidence.

Yes of course. In fact I would be interested to meet a person of a different race in that way. I think it would be really interesting to see a different idiosyncrasy (if there is a different one due to different race).

It all depends on the person.

Ask the same question at a website that have mainly female posters and be surprised at how different the results will be. the same shallowness that make men to be more visual also has the effect of compelling men to mate with any beautiful women regardless of race

I have dated a Native American girl(Pima), a Hispanic girl(Mexico) and a Samoan girl. So yes, I would.

I am dating someone outside my race. I see no reason why I should restrict myself to one race.

It's quite ignorant and outdated to use a word like "race" about people. Over here that word is only applied to for example different breeds of dogs, not human beings.

I dated a black girl in high school (I'm white). All my friends and family were cool with it but hers wasn't. Her brother and his friends really didn't like it.

Exactly. I suppose that's the biggest reason why I feel strongly against it. If you referred to a certain ethnicity as a "race" over here you'd get some "WTF he Nazi? >_>"- looks. Which in itself can be quite ridiculous, but I guess that's another topic too. ^^
