For my parents? No because they'd hate themselves for the rest of their life I did. I would for my brother or someone around my age or younger.
I learned a lot from that post, may your parents rest in peace. What a stupid question to ask. For those of us who lost parents the answer is pretty damn obvious.

Just my father actually, diagnosed with cancer and died 3 months later. As a cancer survivor myself it is tough, and I think anyone who does lose a parent who is young (he was 54 I think) would want them back at any cost. Sorry if I sounded mean, I see now as I re-read the post it sounds harsh rather than bemused and confused at such a simple question.
For my parents? No. No offense to them, but neither of them is particularly important. Also, they're sort of old as $hit anyway, so they'll probably be dead fairly soon regardless. Also, while I can't speak from experience, I hear that there's nothing worse than outliving one's own children. If that's even remotely true, why would I want to put my parents through that? If dying for my parents would just result in my parents spending the rest of their lives agonizing over my death, then wouldn't I be doing my parents a favor by letting them die so that I may live?MrGeezerPretty much this.
Yeah it's a bit cruel, but it's the truth people don't want to hear.

That's a tough question I had never thought of at least in regards to my parents. Â I honestly don't know. Â I would however die for my daughter and wife. Â
In any case I would risk my life to save most people given that the odds are in my favor.
No, I would not.

Then she'd still be a pretty shitty parent. Also: Godwin's Law never fails.
Â
Would do anything for them, but dying for them would go against their own wishes for me to survive them, succeed them, and put wonderful children on this Earth to continue the family line.
