My uncle is a cop, he's cool, he keeps whatever he finds in the evildoer's car after he arrests him/her :PTuky06
That seems sketchy to me. If you arrest someone for a drug/gun charge, don't you have to produce a gun/drugs as evidence?
I mean, suppose I'm the defendant, and I'm on trial for drug possession. I'm claiming that I never had any drugs. If the drugs fail to be produced in court because the arresting officer kept them, doesn't that sort of help MY case?

I don't think you realise that cops are everyday people too! They're not all 'hard-a$$' all the time. They need to earn money for a living too and I guess that's how they do it. I know plenty of coppers and we got out for drinks all the time, we even have drink offs. Not to the extent of Superbad, but it's plenty of fun. Just put a person's job into context. Just like leaving work at work.

well, some cops really love their job.
for example, I know a cop whose personal car has undercover lights and sometimes he writes tickets off dutty.
only 5% of people become cops for $$$$. Cops, Military, Firefighters and all these jobs are there to help people not just money. Of course they need money to live but it's not that much
My uncles a policeman, I've got 2 friends in the Poilce force, and i'm friends with 2 Danish police officers. It's not as big a deal as you make out to be. If someone posts on Gamespot and makes out they're some kind of Narc, to me that just sounds like 13 year old.
