would you ever join one or a mob? lets say you would never go to jail for one,? does that change a thing? i ask this because of the sheer popularity of the gang and mob shows and movies.( sopranos and the wire). is it admiration because they dont follow the law etc

Nope, mostly due to 2 things...

1) I am an introvert, I do not need, nor enjoy social relations a whole lot.

2) I like the law, I would rather join law enforcement, and I generally see Gangs as a blight, that should be dragged out behind the shed and put down. I generally dislike selfish nature, and selfpromoting, I would never think of myself "entitled" to something just because of my upbringing.

Gangs are violent and usually deal with some illegal bracket such as drugs or prostiution.. There is no two ways around it.. I would never join one, not only for the past said reasons but the fact they usually consist of juvinile men who never grew up.

Depends on which gangs you are talking about. My great-grandfather was shot by gang members and we have gang shootings all the time here where I live. Gangs inspire violence in it's members for the sake of having a fake "family".

... Yeah serial killers.. Man that really belittles of what they have done, comparing them to serial killers and domestic terrorists!.. No they are considered one of the worse criminals, and most gang members in prison are in maximum security at times.

i don't think so, there is still a risk of getting in trouble with other gang members and the gang i'm in. the streets of cities can be dangerous. gang members usually shoot innocent people to join the gang. i think the government should clean up the streets more. my dad works in a city. one day he came into work saw a window on his floor with a gun bullet. it would have gone into the building if there wasn't sun things in the windows. he works on the 19th floor of the building.
