On one hand, its not like the jewelry is going to any use anyway...but then again, its also grossly disrespectful.
I won't lie...depending on who it was, I'd definitely consider it...

Dude, I don't care how much of a jerk the guy was. The funeral is not foir HIM. The funeral is for the people who loved him, but were also not jerks.
Really, how are you hurting HIM by stealing his jewelry? Instead, you'll be hurting his poor old nice innocent mother when she notices that someone stole his ****ing jewelry.
And why would you do that? I don't care how much you hate the guy, the people who attend his funeral aren't him.

so even if you didn't get caught right on the spot and dismembered by everybody else who is there, you could never ever wear it, cuz somebody would recognize it and then you would be dismembered by everybody else who was there only at a later time... and nobody would ever again acknowledge that your sorry a$$ even existed...
glad you're not my friend...

You know, I never said I would, I said I'd consider it, and I wouldn't even consider it if the guy were my friend. And who theHell would wear jewelry from a corpse? The point would be to sell it...

Because imagine that your daughter just got tortured to death by a serial killer. She's being buried with the most important emotionally symbolic item you've ever given her. It's an item that in both of your minds symbolized the love that you held for each other.
Now you notice some total ****ing scumbag takjing it from around her neck and putting it in his pocket.
What would you want to do?
Your misunderstanding of the previous guy's post, combined with the fact that you would even CONSIDER it, tells me that you just plain do not ****ing understand how serious this kind of thing is, or why it is such a taboo.
What if his whole family is a bunch of *******s?Dude, I don't care how much of a jerk the guy was. The funeral is not foir HIM. The funeral is for the people who loved him, but were also not jerks.

krazykillaz
Then what the **** are you even doing at the funeral?
No, I don't steal. Its that simple.
however, i would find it stupid if somebody wanted to be buried with the jewelry on. I would assume the family could keep it instead of burying it in the ground. Most everyone that i know that has died has been cremated anyways.......
