Would you fight in an American Civil War?

If a civil war broke out again, for whatever reasons, would you take up arms and fight in it? Or if your in the military, would you fight against your fellow citizens?

I would fight in any war if I felt that the argument on the side I was fighting was justified. I wouldn't fight in an American Civil War though. There would be little point.

i would probably fight in one that said i highly doubt there will be another civil war unless somethign really major happens

You didn't give a lot of detail about the circumstances regarding the cause, but if you are refering to a point where the Govt's action have pushed the American citzenery to a place where we take arms or become utterly subserviant to a dictatorship type of Govt. then yes I will be on the frontline. Not everything it worth going to war for but our freedom is one of them.

Oh in that case yes, but with civil war there is always chance you will still have to fight family/friends too.

the only way i wouldfight is if my family or friends get hurt/killed ,but if it was my choice aloneid move to canada or mexico before it came to that.
