well considering the worst day of my life happened quite recently and im depressed about it...i would probably give it up for free let alone 1000 dollars. but i think later in life when im not hurt anymore from this, i would keep it.

yeah sure. when you think about it the best day of your life is really the saddest day of your life. every time i hear someone say that they just had the best day of their life i feel sorry for them, especially when it's after a wedding or something like that which should really mean your life has a lot of potential to get better. if you had the best already things will just get worse and it must be a drag knowing you will never reach such heights again.

I'll take the 1000 dollars and pretend it never happened. I'm damn near 30, and I still don't know what would be the "best" day of my life. Ha ha. Of course, I'm not married (nor do I want to be), and I don't have kids. I'll take that 1000 dollars and make a new "best" day.

That makes it rather pointless, unless you mean that it is the memory of the best day that is erased. Seeing as I've already experienced it, there isn't much point keeping it there.

Unless you're me, in which case you don't even know what the best day of your life so far is. I've yet to experience a day where I felt extraordinarily happy, so I suppose that I would be getting $1000 for really no loss.
