Quite honestly, I can't see how these people keep putting up with Chef Ramsey. I guess they figure the prize is worth it, but I don't. I can't take being yelled at like that, and I know I'd probably break down and I would not want that broadcast to millions of people.
The Weakest Link is another one I just didn't understand.... Especially as the prize money is usually so small. Who wants to go and get insulted in every way she can think of, just so you can potentially win a small amount of money?
I think some people will do anything to get on TV. It makes me sad =/

i would probably flip out and get tossed off the show...i dont see why some of these people are so rude to the contestants.
im sorry but ive been watching that show since it first premiered and those people suck at cooking and he makes them better by screaming at them...i hope Julia wins this season

I would never win. I'd be booted the first day because I don't let anyone disrespect me or anyone else in that fashion in my presence. If you bark at me like a base animal then I will treat you like one.
I wouldn't participate in something like that, and frankly, I feel like most of the people on that show are spineless. "Yes, chef!" "Sorry, chef!" Puh-lease! That guy's an ass and doesn't deserve anyone's respect - no matter how good a cook he is.
I would spend my time on the show devising a way to file a lawsuit against Ramsey, the producers of the show, and the FOX network. Then I would retire and make that ***** cook for me.

Yeah he has a show here in the Uk called Gordons Kitchen Nightmares where he goes to failing restaurants/pubs to help them get back on their feet, its really funny :D
Sure I would. Gordon Ramsey is no worse than the chef whom apprenticed me. I'd just remember the old days of my apprenticeship and remind myself that I've been screamed at worse. After twelve years of cooking you get pretty thick skin.
Simple, they're most likely paid to do this. He's made out to be a p****, just as people like Simon Cowell are made out to be like p*****, so the shows get higher ratings when Ramsey blows up at one of his apprentices. It's like that with all "reality" shows. The host or one of the judges ends up being the jackass who makes everyone cry, and therefore we, the dumb public, continue to watch the show, either to see the next explosion, the next crybaby, or the next time he gets shown up.
