I myself love the clothing. People have different opinions on clothing/music/ and pretty much everything. Not everyone is the same. I dont do it for attention. Neither do my goth friends. I have alot of different friends. I dont listen to the type of music they listen to and they dont listen to mine, but they dont go around talking **** for no ****ing reason. Not everyone is the same love. Just cause the goths where ever you live probably do it for attention, doesnt mean that all goths do. If we throw on the black pants, the t-shirts, and studded belts, thats cause WE like the way it looks. We dont give a **** about what anyone else thinks of us. Most goths get laughed at, they dont give a **** though. We learn to ignore the immature people and just live on dressing and doing what we like
Paradigm, you have a very stereotyped and miscocepted view of goths. No worries though, most do at some point. Goths don't want you're uselsss attention. We don't want you're trendy Hot Topic shirts either. Reinessance is MUCH more gothic than any of their stuff. Goth is the counterculture that has risen in society many times in history... a group of open minded individuals who have an interest in what is considered "dark" and are very creative and artistic. Any "goth" who complians about confrormity all the time isn't a goth... it isn't trying to be different either. It's being yourself. And buying goth clothing does not make you goth. At all.

Funny cause I go to college and Im goth :) Like I said, EVERYONE is different. We dont care if we get laughed at by immature people. Like I said, we get use to it. I dont do it for attention. Not at all. I dont care for what anyone thinks of me. Its ME and I dress the way I want to. That's all. If they piss you off, then ok, thats you. That's your opinion. But keep it to yourself man.
