Would you lose your sense of smell forever for $1,000,000?

For one million dollars would you forfeit your sense of smell forever (which affects your sense of taste?) Note that you couldn't get your sense of smell back if you took the money. Which one would you choose?

Being able to smell/taste?

Being one million dollars richer?

Fairly obvious, I don't think anyone would do that, unless they were super super old and could barely breathe anyways.

My sense of smell is almost nonexistant actually, so yes.

I'd do it. I don't smell that well anyway. If they ever incorporate smell into video games or television though, I'd be screwed. I'll take the risk though. It has it's benefits. Even the most silent, most deadly of odors would be nothing to me.Food_Nipple

Yeah it would be awesome when there's a gas leak and you die 'cos you don't know it's there and make some toast or something.
