Personally I wouldn't mind at all. I'd just go in, make my one hit, make 10 billion remixes of the damn song and milk it dry, then live off of the money I make :P How about you? Would it bother you to be forever known as a 1 hit wonder?

Very true, but some people find it better to be unknown than to have the "stigma" of being known as a 1 hit wonder. Personally I find nothing shameful with being a 1 hit wonder. I asked my brother about it once and his reasoning was "As a 1 hit wonder, it means that you had your shot in the big times, but you just sucked and didn't go anywhere. You were all luck and no skill. On the other hand, never making it could simply mean that you never got your shot, yet you are still a terrific musical artist." So I guess it's like the old asking a girl out situation; What's worse, being rejected or never knowing if she likes you?Well as it stands right now I will probably be a 0-hit wonder by the time I die, so I should think that 1 > 0. :P

Well let's see......."one hit wonder" and "hit it and quit it" are one in the same to me. So I probably couldn't take being known as the girl who suffered that(not publicly anyways); I do love easy money but I'll take quiet money over easy any day of the week. Besides, the way I blow through money would probably guarantee that I wouldn't have that money for long and yet--that reputation would always remain the same. I rather not have that automatically define me in everyone else's eyes when I try to get back to the norm for myself.
I wouldn't mind at all as long as that were my only song, if I kept making terrible music after that then it would be less awesome :P
Get some nice money from a 1 hit wonder so I don't mind
