I would.. lol I would love to watch a bengals or panthers (nfl game) and just watch how bad they do live.. And I would have alot of room with all the empty seats around me. Would you pay money to see a sports game knowing that your team will do horrible??

If I could get drunk and run around a basically empty stadium and the tickets were really cheap...

Then maybe.

But only once. Otherwise, no.

I'm not a Ute or Boise fan, but I'm going to the game tonight to watch the Utes get slaughtered. As a UNLV fan I hate to see them lose, but I still enjoy going to the football games to have fun with friends.

If you wanted to watch the OTHER team. I know people that buy tickets to Wizards games just to watch LeBron James play if he comes to town.

No. If the team is horrible, then even watching them on TV won't help.

I am a Penguins fan, and still went to games during those seasons in the early 2000's where they weren't in playoff contention.

as a METS fan, yes, lately, no. I tried to support em, went to games, but havent in a year because the team sucked. Many followed and because of it, team failing and nobody going, they made changes that were desperately needed. So in the end it work and hopefully the team will go back to winning.

I went to many many Pirates games while I was living in Pittsburgh. Baseball is different though because you're really just hanging out and drinking beer. Also, its a lot easier to take a beating in July than in December (if you are above the Mason Dixon line).

Since I would never pay money to go to a sports game my answer is without a doubt no. :)

That's what a true fan is. I've been an Orioles fan for as long as their 12 season losing record streak.

EDIT: 13

Well I'll watch the Pirates but I wouldn't travel exceptionally far to see them.

Ah. Well, until recently my grandfather got us free tickets to a bunch of O's games every year, and its only like 30 mins away. They actually usually win when we go. :P

I paid ~$200 to see the Patriots play in London. Even though I knew it would be a one sided game, against the Buccaneers.

I go to a few pirates games because PNC park is very nice.

I also went to a Texans home game in 2005 they went 2-14 :P. We were visiting Houston (where I used to live) so we thought we'd go to a Texans game. The tickets were cheap for good seats.

To see the Knicks only. 6 years in the basement of the Eastern Conference won't deter this fan :P
