Really depends what tool or weapon I have at my disposal. I'd probably fight the horse sized duck because it would be easier to outsmart but ducks are so vicious so I dunno.

A horse sized duck would bite your head off or beat you to death with it's wings. You couldn't run or hide from it either.

I'd take the 50 duck sized horses. You could at the very least try and find some high ground.

A giant duck could fly after you and practically guarntee that you will not escape, while on the other hand 50 small horses, while I imagine them to be fast, there size will lower there speed and grant you an easy escape.

A horse sized duck. It would pretty much collapse under its own weight due to having utterly puny legs that wouldn't be strong enough to support a 500+ kilo mass, thus allowing me to win with no effort.

The 50 horses. I could stand 2 feet off the ground and they couldn't get me.

I can't see 50 duck sized horses being able to do much. A horse sized duck on the other hand *shudders*, pretty sure that's what people are greeted by in the 9th circle of hell.
